⚠ Never combine with nitrates
Do
not
take vardenafil if you use any nitrate medicine for chest pain or heart problems (such as nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate or mononitrate), recreational nitrites (“poppers”), or the pulmonary-hypertension medicine riociguat (Adempas). Together they can cause a sudden, life-threatening drop in blood pressure.
Vardenafil can affect heart rhythm (QT interval), so it should be avoided if you have certain heart-rhythm conditions or take some antiarrhythmic medicines. Tell the prescriber if you take
alpha-blockers
, or certain antifungal, HIV or antibiotic medicines (CYP3A4 inhibitors), or have heart disease, low or high blood pressure, severe liver or kidney problems, a recent stroke or heart attack, or a history of certain eye conditions. Vardenafil is for adults (18+) and is not for women or children.
Seek emergency care
for an erection lasting more than 4 hours, sudden loss of vision or hearing, chest pain, or signs of an allergic reaction.
